ScamCheck analyzes text you provide to flag fraud signals. It is a heuristic analysis tool, not a guaranteed verdict or a certified security service.

1. Data collected

None. The service runs without authentication and stateless: no account, no password, no profile.

2. Request processing

The text you provide (message, link, sender) is analyzed transiently, only to produce the result, then discarded. Nothing is logged or kept on the application side, and no data is sent to a third-party service: the whole analysis is local to the server.

3. Storage and retention

No user data is stored. No database, no profile, no tracking cookie.

4. Sharing with third parties

No sharing. The links returned point to official public resources (Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre).

5. Hosting

Hosted on Vercel, which may process standard HTTP technical logs (IP address, timestamp) for operational and security purposes, per Vercel's policy.
